1.5 Scope of application

1.5.1. This product is suitable for root canal shaping and cleaning during the root canal preparation phase of root canal treatment.

1.5.2. This product is only suitable for use in hospitals and clinics, and must be used by qualified dentists.

1.6 Contraindications

This product is not recommended for patients with implantable pacemakers (or other electrical devices) who have been warned against the use of small electrical appliances (e.g. electric shavers, hairdryers, etc.).

1.7 Warning notices

1.7.1. Read these instructions carefully before first use.

1.7.2. The device must be used in a suitable location by a professional and qualified dentist.

1.7.3. Do not place the device directly or indirectly near heat sources. The device must be operated and stored in a reliable environment.

1.7.4. This device requires special precautions regarding electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and must be installed and used in strict compliance with the EMC information. Do not use this equipment in the vicinity of, in particular, fluorescent lamps, radio transmitting devices, remote control devices, hand-held and mobile high-frequency communication devices.

1.7.5. Prolonged use of the reciprocating mode may cause the handle to overheat, in which case it should be left to cool before use. If the handle overheats frequently, contact your local dealer.

1.7.6. The device must use the original matching bending handpiece, otherwise it will not work or cause adverse consequences.

1.7.7. Do not make any modifications to this device, any alterations may violate safety regulations causing injury to the patient. Any modifications will be made without any promised warranty.

1.7.8. Please use the original power adapter, other power adapters can cause damage to the lithium battery and control circuitry.

1.7.9. The handle cannot be autoclaved, only wipe the surface with neutral disinfectant or alcohol.

1.7.10. The press cover of the contra-angle handpiece must not be pressed before the contra-angle handpiece stops rotating, otherwise the contra-angle handpiece will be damaged.

1.7.11. Do not remove the contra-angle handpiece until the handle stops rotating, otherwise the contra-angle handpiece and the internal gears of the handle will be damaged.

1.7.12. Before starting the handle, make sure the filing pins are in place and locked.

1.7.13. Do not use a continuously rotating file for a reciprocating system program, or a reciprocating file for a continuously rotating system program.

1.7.14. Set the torque and speed of the machine according to the parameters recommended by the manufacturer of the selected file.

1.7.15. The forward mode is used for continuously rotating files; the reciprocating mode is used for reciprocating files (i.e. single files); and the reverse mode is used to remove continuously rotating files in the event that a continuously rotating file is accidentally jammed in the root canal.

1.7.16. Do not start the handle motor until the contra-angle handpiece is correctly installed to prevent the operator from touching the gears and causing damage.

1.7.17. Use a standardized turning needle (machine-operated endodontic files,...). 2.2 Instructions for using the contra-angle handpiece

2.2.1 This contra-angle handpiece (CA001) internal precision gear transmission, transmission ratio of 1:1.

2.2.2. Before the first use and after each use, please bend the handpiece with commonly used neutral disinfectant solution for cleaning and disinfection, followed by special cleaning oil for oil maintenance, and then for the temperature of 134 ℃, the pressure of 2.0bar ~ 2.3bar. (0.20MPa ~ 0.23MPa) high temperature autoclave.

2.2.3. The curved handpiece can only be used in conjunction with this equipment, and can not be used in conjunction with other equipment.

2.3 Installation and removal of contra-angle handpieces

2.3.1. Installation

Align the positioning pins of the contra-angle handpiece with the positioning holes on the handle, push the handpiece horizontally, and a "click" indicates that the handpiece is in place. Through the three positioning pins on the handpiece and the handle of the six positioning holes with. The contra-angle handpiece can be installed at multiple angles. (As shown in the figure below)

2.3.2. Disassembly

When the handle is not activated, the contra-angle handpiece can be pulled out horizontally and directly.

WARNING

a) Stop the handle before unplugging the contra-angle handpiece.

b) When mounting the contra-angle handpiece, make sure that the contra-angle handpiece is assembled in place.

2.4 Installation and removal of file needles (e.g. Woodpecker's W3-Pro)

2.4.1. Filing needle installation

Insert the filing needle into the hole in the head of the machine when the machine is not started. When inserting, gently rotate the file needle with one hand and hold the elbow handpiece press cover with the other hand.

WARNING

When the file needle is inserted into the head and the press cover is released, the file needle cannot be removed.

2.4.2. File needle removal

After pressing down the head press cover, pull out the file needle directly.

Warning

a) Be sure to stop the handle before removing the file needle.

b) When the file needle is installed, gently pull out the file needle without pressing the press cover, the file needle will still be locked.
